OVERVIEW

TruePenny People supported the large FDA modernization project (MARCS).  This included:

 

  • Development of an intelligent questionnaire for all field agents for food inspections (Egg farms)

  • Ruleset that diverts collected samples to the appropriate laboratory

THE SOLUTION

OPA is integrated with a .NET application to provide the interview screens and underlying business logic.

The lab selection algorithm directs the sample to the correct lab with the highest processing capacity (time to create and implement this Rulebase was under 3 weeks  - large ROI)


Once put in production, the intelligent questionnaire will automate field observations currently recorded by hand. The lab selection algorithm will allow business users to implement special rules when critical public health situations arise
